Found this Pascal card through some investigation. I got some bad news or good I guess, depending on what your expectations for GP104 was. worriedsmiley.gif

GB3B-256
That means the card will be 256bit.

256MX16.
That means 256MB x 16 = 4GB. It will have 4GB of standard GDDR5 just like the lowest capacity GTX 980M.

Nvidia`s GTX 980M had 16 x 256MB/512MB VRAM chips too. 8 on the top (picture) and 8 on the back (picture). That they continue to use 256MB VRAM means its standard GDDR5 due to the usual density we see on cards now. GDDR5x double that density.

The code for the card is 699-12754-0003-300. Previous cards based on Maxwell is 699-2xxxx.
The 300 at the end is the silicon branding. GM204 was GM204-300. So this is GP104-300.

The card is shipped from Nvidia`s GPU HQ in US just like the unreleased Quadro card below, so this is an unreleased card. Exisiting cards is shipped directly from China (TSMC).

At last, notice the value of the card. Its insured at 113 000 INR which is $1600. Thats 3 times as much as the Quadro K5000M I post as a comparison below. A card thats sold for $2000 today.
Nvidia is really protecting their unreleased Pascal cards.

Here is Quadro K5000M before it was announced in August 2015. N16E-Q5 means its a professional version of N16E-Q1 which was GTX 980M/GM204. It too is a GB3B-256 (256bit) just like all Nvidia`s flagships. It featured 16 x 512MB VRAM chips.

This could well be nV's prototype 4096bit (256Mx16 again) HBM 4GB card as well. DOES seem unlikely but then they're insuring a "1080 stock" for $1600 each also seems a bit unlikely.

The value
Flagship cards always 256bit. Next tier always 192bit.
16 VRAM chips. No other than mobile flagships carry 16 chips on the PCB

GB3B-256 means 256bit. Search around and you will see

You saw the "Does seem unlikely" part, right?

There we have it:

Not a pascal. Your image isn't a P2754 board tho.

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2623/geforce-gtx-970m.html

The problem is this ^ site says the 970m/980m are 6gb... http://videocardz.com/nvidia/geforce-900m/geforce-gtx-980m says 8GB

One way or the other it means nV is still flat-footed against RTG having fully functioning cards in the wild at this time. There's self-assurance but this delay is starting to get telling.

You pointed out the problem with using the value. The $2,000 K5000M has a listed value of 32,XXX per unit, this one has a value of 113,XXX per unit (3.5x the value) and is not going to sell for anywhere near $2,000. How exactly do the values of this pre production item relate to it's market price?

There doesnt exist any 4GB GTX 980s for notebooks and the codename for the GPU says its new. Everything about it actually which I wrote about in OP. Maybe they are using same board to test the GP104 chip since it looks like GP104 and GM204 are very similar
