At first i was looking at the low priced ones but still around 80 bux at least for one. Are there cards that can push 4k at 120hz? cuz i saw some does 4k but people reported to be only at 30hz.
The HTPC currently has a HD4350 i think. Was wondering if any of my older cards can work but none, spec wise can push it. I have a FirePro V5900 that does displayport 1.2 that theoretically does 4k no? but spec wise, it doesnt either.
What's your definition of budget? Will you be gaming with it? Nvida GTX 960 is a good start for a single GPU solution for 4K @ 60hz with lower IQ. I personally have a GTX 970 that works great in 4K with some obvious adjustments to IQ on my HTPC and Samsung 60" 4K running in full 4K @60Hz 4:4:4 Chroma. Currently there is no single GPU solution that can output in 120Hz at that resolution. At least not until the next Displayport version. Check out my #cineplex Build Log: Link
Ideally you would want at least SLI GTX 970, SLI 980, (Ti), AMD Crossfire R9 290X, Crossfire 390X, Crossfire Fury, Crossfire Nano, Crossfire Fury X. Those options move you beyond budget though :D
