3930K @4.7 doing today against other newer CPU's

Thread Starter
Hi all

I'd like to know how a 3930k @4.7GHz does today against other modern CPU's like 6700k, 5820k,ect?

In games and other multi threaded apps. It's my current CPU but i'm wondering if i should make the jump to something newer. I play Games (1440) and do video encodes now and then

Thanks for popping by

You just need to upgrade your ram to 2400/2666/2800 cas9/10/12 and you won't need to upgrade for a long time

if you use AVX2 in your encoding then wait for Broadwell -E,AMD Zen,Skylake-E or get a 5820k if your programs dont use AVX2 then your 3930k would be like a 4GHz 5820k
