[infoworld] Get Windows 10 patch KB 3035583 suddenly reappears on Win7/8.1 PCs - Page 6

What's your problem? If u like it so much why do you feel the need to post on this thread?

It's not like it will make us get the "itch" to upgrade.

Well if you know nothing at all then I suppose looking at network+ content would be a great start to learn the terms and basics.

Then build a lab environment for you to play in and try setting some goals, break it a few times and know why it's broken and why it worked.

Building a lab can be quite cheap, and that same lab can be used for your network later too.

The issue is that it can be pretty dry content, and not many people care to spend too much time in it.

My issue with Windows 10 is I am not in the market for a new operating system at this time, so please Microsoft stop trying to force it on me
I will upgrade when I am ready.
I have had Windows update turned off for 3 months now.
I am not bashing Windows 10 as I don't have it therefore I can't comment on something I don't have.
I just don't want or need it at this time.
as for spying, just about everything we do in life is known, and as for our computers, I think 80% of what we do
on them is known.

In the same fashion as Windows 10 won't grow tired of asking me to upgrade to it. Hell I rolled back to 8.1 because 10 kept freezing on my laptop, and during the first boot-up it asked me if I wanted to upgrade to Windows 10. HA! HAHA!! HAHAHAHAH!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! That's a good one.

You forgot to include the step to continuously hide the update that re-appears after hiding it on the last update of windows. biggrin.gif

If you are happy with Windows 10, that's great, go make a thread about all your favorite Win10 features and why you think it is better than Win7/8.1, but your comment here is not relevant.
Would you be happy if when you installed iTunes, you got pop-ups all over your desktop saying "Sell this PC, buy a MAC and get OSX today!", i don't think you would, you know Macs exist, you know OSX exists, you don't need to be constantly reminded.

This isn't Windows 10 bashing, this is "Microsoft Malware for Windows 7 and 8.1" bashing. NOBODY likes popup ads, they are annoying, and generally uninformative, and you have to actively clear them off your screen. Nobody WANTS that experience from a PC. Microsoft is forcing an app onto our computers that behaves like some malware people will use av scanners to remove (saying that though, I've never had it on my rigs, managed to keep it off up until now, hoping i don't go home to a GWX computer this afternoon like OP). They are making the windows 7 and 8.1 experience more frustrating. Even if it is only a little, they are still actively doing it.

People are aware of Windows10, we don't need a reminder every time we use our computers.

Yeah except Mookster (Post #4 i think) said he had done this and it still made it to his machine. I have winupdate disabled on my machines also, and haven't seen the GWX thing (except on my old laptop, which I don't really care too much about, and have everything enabled/default)
