G502 or Zowie EC1-A

I cannot decide between these two mice. I apologize if this post is a bit redundant, but i've read almost every other thread on it and still haven't come to a conclusion.
I am currently using a Steelseries sensei, but i am ready to switch mice as it is giving me some issues. I have somewhat larger hands (8.2 inches) and i use a claw grip. I have been doing well with the Sensei and i really enjoy the ergonomics, just not some of the other aspects. I previously used the G400 and also really liked it. Before today i was almost certain i was going to buy the EC1-A but I found that my Best Buy is now carrying the G502 for $50, so this has swayed my decision. I would appreciate any advice and feedback very much, Thanks in advance!

Well I have fairly large hands and ended up with the G502, hands down the best I have owned over the years. Precise, nice to hold and looks cool! Can't go wrong smile.gif

Mice similar to the Zowie just doesn't work for me at all, they are to low in height and feels to small I guess. If you are unsure try to go to a store and try them out.

If weight is an issue then you may be bothered with the 502. I have a 502 and love the sensor but the weight is a real problem for me. Haven't used a zowie mouse yet so have no knowledge on them.

Hi Baddie

I have not used either of the two mice you are considering so I cannot offer comment there. You mentioned that you like the sensie except for some 'other aspects'? You might want to look at the new Dreammachine DM1 mouse which is meant to be the Sensei shape with a better sensor:

from a technical point of view you should buy the g 502. its only flaw is the weight which can be reduced if you desperately need to.

Only thing that is debatable is the shape, and ppl on the internet wont tell you what shape fits your hands best, thats up to you.

I would buy the g 502.

I hated the feel of the Logitech G502, as my hands are fairly large and would hit the button on the grip by accident. I aventually returned my Logitech G502, and I'm using a Zowie EC1-A for my FPS games now, which I'm really enjoying. I'm still using a Logitech G303 for MOBA games though, in case you're curious.

Thanks for all of the advice. I went to the store and held it for awhile, I think my only problem with it is the side buttons. I'll most likely buy it and use it for a few days and if I don't like it I'll return it and go for the EC1-A. If anyone else has thoughts about these mice id love to hear them, thanks!
