As seen in title
Your Exprience With Precisely Matched Pair Valves?

I am askig this because I have never brought a precisely matched vavle, is there a big diffrence, small diffrence or no diffrence between just a normal tube and the same model being a precisely matched pair.

Match pair is a buzz word, it doesn't really mean anything. Just means tubes test at same value.

Not true.

Depending on the usecase (presumably audio) a matched pair will be easier to BIAS.

that being said its not like it will blow up on you.

Heres what I think about match tubes, when you have two channels of amps or have a push pull configuration, you want the tubes used to have the same gain, if the gain is diffrent then it will cause some distortion.

But puting this into real world applications, does it make a diffrence?
Is the diffrence too small to be noticable?
I have not brought a matched one before so I don't know
