Eizo FG2421 - flickering green pixels/subpixels - Page 2

Amazon swapped my FG2421 (had the monitor for less than 1 month) with another one ( the replacement had already 24hr of use mad.gif ) but the replacement was way worst than the original. Sent it back and asked for a refund.

This Eizo "debacle" happened after returning an XL2420G that had HORRIBLE colors (even after several hours of tuning and even compared to my old 2233rz) and scanlines in g-sync mode.

My old Samsung 2233rz definitely regained his spot on my desktop... waiting for a good 1080p 144hz not TN panel coming out soon or late :|

Just wanted to add this for archival purposes, the person I spoke to at Eizo forwarded my question regarding the flickering green pixels/subpixels to Eizo Japan and they said that they know about this issue and recommend therefore only using the Turbo 240 in games (because the problem does not occur there or at least is not visible, as far as I know) but not in desktop mode.
If you ask me, the monitor does not fully function with Turbo 240 in desktop mode, and this issue should be officially communcated to customers by Eizo.

I personally have the Turbo 240 mode de-activated for anything other than games.
The only other reason I would use it would be for watching a video with 120FPS, but that of course does not happen very often.
