What is PC gaming? What should represent PC gaming? Do you play any of the popular MOBA games? What games do you play?

I have no issues with what he had to say and i thought it was funny to me in my context, but in a professional situation like that, I believe it was a bad move. One needs to differentiate the setting of a game streamer/Youtube commentator with a setting of a professional tournament with money and sponsors at stake. I have watched a few professional Arena tournaments for WoW and I have always noticed the professionalism in the commentators and the hosts. Those tournaments have reminded me very much of the same professionalism you would find at ESPN. I think there is a time and place for both kinds of behavior but the setting has to be considered.

Then the company, school or institution is at fault because they know very well who they're hiring, at least they should, and in this case they know 2GD had it's own original style of hosting events, they knew VERY WELL if that would ever in any way shape or form turn into an issue, they wanted serious ESPN type of hosting? yet they hire 2GD in the first place along with Perfect World, probably the worst production company ever, what were they trying to do?

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1B061Rs4gw4zkCec35Q5v2r576e_Jd6pJfrT_5_GZ74I/preview?pref=2&pli=1

After reading James side of the story I can safely say that Gaben is a Millionaire Ass, can't believe I supported him and all of his doings for so long, I haven' ever watched any 2GD hosting, but I already knew his reputations so it isn't a Mystery that if you hire that man then you want a very specific theme going on, especially when having all this brought to consideration Valve also emphasize the host to "Be Himself, people love you for how you are", Really?

He never in any moment did anything related to what most people in this thread says he did, he didn't engage into religious, political or racist comments, he's humor was pretty spot on to what DOTA fans will feel comfortable with, IMHO I think it was a tremendous job being done by 2GD given the poor quality of the set, he had to use a whiteboard for christ sake, that isn't his fault, that was him saving the panel, between internet cuts, poor signal and stability, laughable set and even men screaming in the background there's only so much you can do.

More like not paying attention.

"Did you notice the difference between this performance and the ones I gave at TI? because your company gave clear instructions." -James

In contrast, this was what Valve instructed James in this tournament.

"People love you for how you are, be yourself"- Valve.

What?

How many times had he hosted Dota events in this fashion?

In any case, Gabe calling him out like that is not professional either and even more so if it was Valve that had asked him to be like that and there was no communication between Valve, the hosting company and him.

Who knows. Perhaps Harding, being in a better mood and not working for less pay, working with other panelists that he can easily converse with, didn't raise any flags or make bad jokes about masturbating to people in wheelchairs.

Or perhaps this was the one time that Newell was paying attention and it was the worst possible time for everyone involved.
