6700k@4.5GHz 1.38V still unstable

Thread Starter
Using a MSI Z170A Gaming M5 mobo

Multi on 45, voltage core one 1.38V (but on HWMonitor it goes from 1.32 to 1.392), adaptive voltage off, XMP on, everything else on default.

Not sure if I should change any other setting, and I see a lot of people saying that 1.4V is too much, but on this forum the guide says 1.45V is where you should stop.

IntelBurnTest seems to run this OC on standard stress, and about 9 runs on high.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What's your setup?

I have my 6700K @ 4.6Ghz 1.34v stable 24/7. I used automatic overclock on my bios set to like 100%. Also using AIO watercooler.

You'll most likely hit a temperature wall than getting to the highest 'safe' voltage.

I'm using a H110. Even using 1.435V (was testing 4.6GHz, unstable with that voltage though) and still didn't pass 65C
