Any Plan that AMD will Release a Polaris version of R9 Nano?

I love the Nano alot, just that its only 4GB and the coil whine is annoying. I am hoping that Polaris could be faster, 8GB and no whine. Any plans that AMD is releasing a polaris version of the Nano?

The top tier of AMD's Polaris may be more similar to the Nano than to the Fury X.

With the power savings, it may use the same cooler, or even an updated blower design. A top SKU with a TDP at, or even below, 150W is entirely conceivable - with 60%+ higher performance even.

I do suspect that the largest Polaris is basically an updated and shrunk Fury X. 4096 cores, 64 CU, 64 ROP, etc.. just each constituent component upgraded, optimized, etc.

That would be great. All I need is something thats as fast as Fury X and uses the same power as Nano. Also, this time no coil whine pls!

Your needs are quite modest, then. thumb.gif
