How much better is the z170 oc formula against the maximus viii impact?

Form factor aside, is the asrock that much of a better board?
If you only wanted to use a single GPU and a pair of SSD, what would you gain from the larger atx board?
I ask because price is the same.
I always just use a single GPU. Whenever I think about crossfire, a new line of GPUs are already out and I always end up selling my GPU and get a single more powerful one.
I guess my question is in this scenario, what would I gain by building atx?
With a real gaming usage on an air-cooled cpu, would the better power delivery of the asrock make a difference to overclock?

What are your thoughts?
For the record, I ask because my current board as a dead dimm slot and I will have to buy a new one.

Cheers

In my book, unless you plan on crossfire/sli some day theres no need for an atx. The power delivery isn't going to be an issue, unless you're going for extreme overclocks.

I'm running a maximus vi impact, and I love the thing. Its in a Corsair 250d, not the smallest mini-itx case around, but it allows me to fit all full size components comfortably.
