from the documentation directflip looks like its only a way to prevent needless state changes due to an overlay while watching something like a movie.
can you explain why it can circumvent what WDDM is doing? i couldnt really find much of a write up at all on what directflip does.

So if all this is true then can someone explain to me how this DX12 tech demo used 4 GPUs?

 

 

I am more inclined to believe that "DX12 games sold via the WINDOWS STORE" will have these limitations. Not all games.

Nvidia use FlipEx to bypass some of the DX12 pipeline constriants. Also SLI can run in window mode.

I am saddened by how the newest generations of so hyped graphics cards are being tainted with technological limitations that to some would say it resemble the biological wastes of a dog who ate the biological wastes of another dog.

This can't be, if it is then Vulkan shall take DirectX 12 place as developers are lazy but not stupid, I can't for the life of me even digest the fact that all this time I've been using Windows 8 and now Windows 10 I haven't even noticed I had Vsync forced through Windows when using Windowed mode In-Game, Thankfully I did used FullScreen 99% of the time but the fact I didn't knew, the fact this isn't common knowledge shatters my self awareness.

This "Vsync" forced through Windows 10 on Windowed mode, can you disable it by forcing Vsync and Triple Buffering Off within drivers? Also I've now read that forced Vsync from Windows 10 is different than Vsync in-game, that Windows only applies Triple buffering, if so how is it possible that triple buffering alone can fix tearing? what are the downsides and how does it even works?

I can't believe the API supposed to be our savior is slowly becoming our doom.
