Triple monitor setup monitor decision help!!

Hey guys, I'm looking to do a triple monitor set up and I've settled on two monitors

-Dell - S2316M 23" IPS LED HD
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell-s2316m-23-ips-led-hd-m...

-aoc I2269VW
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/aoc-21-5-ips-led-hd-monitor...

According to the specifications the AOC has better contrast ratio and has option for vesa mount. the Dell is obviously bigger but also has smaller bezel. There aren't too many helpful reviews on the dell. Which one would you choose and why. Thanks for your thoughts and incite.

I was just considering the same thing. I really like the thin bezel of the Dell monitor. The research I've done shows that most triple monitor mounts tend to be quite expensive and the cheaper ones don't seem to support very large displays. I'm worried they will hold a 23" display but only completely straight, which in my opinion defeats the purpose of the triple display since I want to angle them for the immersion feel. That then leads me to my next problem which is well if I'm going to purchase somewhat cheaper monitors and then buy an expensive mount that offers the ability to angle them, I could have just used that money for even better monitors.

Are you considering those same things?

I hope someone can help us out!

So far I bought both from bestbuy to compare at home and the AOC feels a little heavier just because it had the power brick built in most likely. comparing the two the AOC seems to show better whites and blacks i don't know if that because of the matte screen. Also I feel like the dell has like a yellowish tint compared to the AOC. The Dell is noticeably darker.

AOC IPS?

take the IPS if you're gonna use triple monitor gaming...otherwise colours will be washed out at different angles.

Both are ips. The DELL is on left and AOC is on the right

Wow that's a tough call...what is your gut telling you? I'm quite interested in buying 3 of one of those for my triple setup.

Update: By the way the AOC was just $99 last week but it's $109 this week...the sales rep at my BestBuy told me they go on sale very frequently. I saw it in store and I liked it but I really dislike the Antiglare fuzzy screen. How does it compare to the Dell? Can't tell from the picture

i'd try to get them calibrated and decide.

if you feel aoc has the better panel and thicker bezels don't bother you go for that

Twitchyzero while you're responding, can I ask where you got the desk in your photo? I'm also looking for a desk for my triple monitor setup

Yea I tried calibrating it for an hour but it still had that warm yellowish tin no matter what. I decided to go for AOC but I think I'll wait until they go on sale again or I might pick up a 23 inch AOC off amazon if they go back to $130 again. So comparing the two, the text on Dell is much more clear bc of the glossy screen but if ur watching a video the AOC is more vibrant and accurate and for that reason I went with AOC.

not sure this helps, but i have had an eyefinity setup for a few years now. I use ViewSonic 19" monitors at 1680x1050 each. Its a lot of monitor even with 19" ones. Measure your desk and determine what 3 monitors will be on your actual desk. You may find the 21" more usable with the amount of desk you have to give up to use them. Though a thin bezel is really nice. Bezals are annoying, but something that can be ignored. I barely notice them anymore.
