Went back to a 357.x release one after a complete safe mode driver sweeper run, removed everything nvidia from system software wise.

Clean install, setup everything again & not had a single crash since, absolutely solid probably getting up to 30 hours of uninterrupted gaming now.

This has been since upgrading to Windows 10 by update, never ever had Nvidia issues since before then.

Back in ATI days had a butt load of issues which is why I'm always green team.

Thinking of fresh installing Windows 10 instead of using this original Windows 7 install thats been updated to it's tits to 10

Absolutely do a fresh install of Windows 10. That's the root of a ton of NVIDIA drivers from what I've seen.

You do realize you can just download the driver off the NVIDIA/Geforce website without registering right?

Inelegant solutions can be difficult to maintain. That might not been an end worth pursuing. NVIDIA's drivers already have more lines of code than Windows so keeping the technical debt under control is critical.

Stable for me in everything but bf4. I mean everything.. I have nearly 200 games installed over 2 tb's of drives. IS it the game or the drivers? or?????????

Went through the desktop crashes with chrome for a while / 980 ti , went through a few very unstable drivers for gta 5 / bf4. but it seemed to have gotten better.

yep tongue.gif

Just recently, moving from 361.43 to 361.91 caused my Civ V to act up with it failing to boot 9/10 times, hope that's not the case with 362 rolleyes.gif

And thankfully only once more before that, dodgy drivers caused my NFS Underground to crash constantly on my old Jetway MX440 -->I was like 12, so I remember being very upset by it :'(

Do you personally boot up and play all 200+ games every update just to be able to say that? tongue.gif
