Thread Starter
I'm looking to jump to 1440p, will my graphics card be enough or should I upgrade?

You will not be hitting 60fps in the latest titles with this card, more like 30-45fps... unless you'll turn quite a few setting down.

You will struggle with that card and will have to play at lower settings as mentioned.

What games do you plan to play with that monitor ? if you play games ~2-3 years old, this card can manage ~40-50 with a mix of mid to high settings. Latest games would require a little more grunt that that to run at decent frames. Even MMO's would run like a champ

Try VSR with your 1080 and downscale to 1440.

EDIT: see post #3 . . .

Depends on the game. GTA V on high/very high/noAA - no problem doing 60+.

As said, try VSR and see whether you like it or not.
