Corsair 600T Fan Control Connectors

Hi all.

I've recently stripped my old rig out to rebuild it to a higher spec. In this previous spec, I left the fant control unconnected because I had no idea what to do. I've since then read about 300 forums, but have not got any further idea on how to connect it. My fans were connected to the motherboard and ran just fine at a constant speed, but I would like to be able to connect them to a fan controller this time round so I can quiet it down at night. I was wondering if anyone could give me a link to a step-by-step video tutorial or give me a runthrough on here.

Below are the specs relevant, just so you get the idea of what I'm using:

Corsair 600T Special White Edition

Vanguad 1000W PSU

ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Ranger Mobo

Thanks for the help, it's greatly appreciated, and I will reply to all comments and queries ASAP.

EDIT: I'm using a Corsair H80i GT water cooler for the new rig.

My tip would be, get another fan-controller and don't touch the one that comes with the case. I have read a dozen stories of that fan-controller dieing within days of use. Especially if your cpu fan(s) rely on the controller.

I have owned the case myself and never touched the included controller, I'd say get an aftermarket one from a brand such as: Lamptron, NZXT, Scythe or so. Fan-controllers are quite cheap anyway, not worth risking damage over a couple bucks in my opinion.

Fair enough. I've never read anything like that to be honest, one count of a guy mis-wiring his mobo and short circuiting it but not because of the actual controller. I don't think the fans rely on it, I plugged them into my previous mobo (AsRock Fatal1ty Z77) and they worked fine just going on the standard setting, but if that is the case, I don't need the controller anyway. Also, I forgot to put into the original post:

I'm using a Corsair H80i GT water cooling system for my CPU. Previously used a Noctua aftermarket fan, which worked fine too, but water cooling is neat and looks good. Plus sweet, sweet low temperature.

I had 3 600T's and all of the fan controller's worked for a few weeks. I agree on getting a new controller outright.

Interesting. Assuming I take the advice (which, seeing as I've read a couple stories like that now, I will), I was thinking about getting the NZXT Sentry 3. How does that connect to my fans within the 600T, and what does it connect to on my motherboard?

The unit will be fed by your power supply with a molex connector, the fans will be connected to the fan-controller by regular fan connectors.
