The actual branded stuff in bottle like u showed is probably best if running thru a pump though Im sure

*I keep my system water in [4] voss bottles glass yea lid sealed w/saran aw yea no pet/fluorcarbons/ plasticizees for my builds

**In case anyone wondering what I'm relaying to you, normal plastic bottles are known to leech things so doesn't mater if being consumed or not fact is just that .. And flurocarbons/carbons, any type .. Are the main thing that makes blocks start deteriorating.. K so how much did I earn here industry fellas hmm

Just providing an update. So far the water remains crystal clear and I see no sign of the orange/brown discoloration through my clear plexi flow meter where it had previously built up. I'll keep everyone posted.

Happy I found this thread.

I found 3 different types of coffee machine cleaner online. Price is roughly the same at USD6-8

Which would you guys buy and why? Would like to run it through my loop for a few hours to clean it good.

I would personally review the ingredients. Citric Acid is the key ingredient here. I would just compare the ingredients to make sure there's nothing crazy added but I think they are all pretty much the same thing smile.gif

My loop is still crystal clear, this is no longer a TEST it is a SOLUTION smile.gif

Thanks Laithan, I have to order the stuff online they dont sell it in the local supermarkets. The Klar seems to be based on Citric Acid. The others contain Natrium Carbonate and Natrium Peroxide (Not sure what those are, if they ever taught me in secondary school I forgot it long ago)

Hi there. Did you circulate the descaling in your loop for 24 hours? or did you just filled the loop without running it?

Initially I just filled and drained it but later I filled and circulated. It worked MUCH better to re-circulate for 24hrs. I then flushed with distilled before filling my loop.
