The XG2401 has FreeSync and the 24GM77 has Blur Reduction - the 24GM79G has both

Im not interested in neither Freesync or Gsync, from what I've researched it adds input lag:

Should I buy the 24GM79G-B?

All things equal it seems like it's the best.

From what i've heard the LG has the best colors, so the new version should be equal or better.

Hi ,
I'm new here but I've created an account since I bought this monitor several days ago and I really love it , but I've noticed some uneven brightness on my monitor , not only vertically which is common on TN panels , but also horizontally . The right edge of the screen looks warmer or brighter than the left side. Is this normal?
Thank you so much!

What is "blur reduction" specifically? is it one of those things that add input lag?

I asked in reddit, and some guy which posts here, told me that this new LG 24GM79G is worse than the LG 24GM77, and the Viewsonic XG2401

If you guys can look at the tests and agree, I think then the XG2401 is the best TN panel for gaming with the best colors and best input lag etc.

ive also come to that conclusion after many hours of reading and youtube watching. Once I fixed the colors (and after 20ish minutes of being on), its been a gem to game on. Very happy with the 2401

Before I buy this, does it display near-black colors well? I currently have a G2460PF, and the disgusting crushed blacks are the only reason I want to upgrade.

You'll probably find an answer closest to seeing it for yourself in real life in this in depth review: https://pcmonitors.info/reviews/viewsonic-xg2401/
