If it's the interpolated 10,000dpi version I do not know. I do not have that one. The one I have is the 6400dpi tramp stamp logo version.

same here, i love the tracking of sabre, clicks are a little bit harder than rival100 (damn great clicks!) so i cannot spam too much in q3 haha, i love cougar 550m for that, same S3988, that thing when i turn off the driver app, all settings go to default, i'd love to get rid of that program on startup

Hm, I can find three versions here in the EU:

  • Corsair Gaming Sabre RGB Optical (CH-9000056-EU, 50 dpi - 6400 dpi, listed since Nov. 2014)
  • Corsair Gaming Sabre RGB Optical, New Logo (CH-9000111-EU, 50 dpi - 6400 dpi, listed since Oct. 2015)
  • Corsair Gaming Sabre 2016 RGB Optical (CH-9000111-EU, 100 dpi - 10000 dpi, listed since Jan. 2016)

All three appear to offer the v1.16.42 as latest software on Corsair's support site...

Does someone know whether there changed something with the sensor or the bad latencies for the latest 2016 version? Or is it all related to the software that produces the delay?

^ this

I can get a brand spanking new one for only 53 euros in my region

should i pull the trigger ?

favorite shapes : EC2 - IME 3.0 - IMO 1.1 - spawn/xornet

how is the pinky support ? i got short and chubby fingers, hand size is 18cm

I use all kinds of grip during actual gameplay

anybody tested the 10k dpi version for button lag yet ???

is it really using a 3989 to match the razer DA chroma ??

ok just bought it tongue.gif

shape feels nice enough

hope i will test it properly in the next 10-12 hrs

software is a mess

i created a custom profile and saved it into the device memory

then i exited the software.

custom lighting works

custom dpi values work ( i only need3 settings )

500hz polling rate works

rebinds do not unless i keep the CUE software running !

http://gaming.corsair.com/en/~/media/5B7F6E9186454D4ABD1F6EC6139D4119.ashx

i wanted to set buttons #4 and #5 to custom keystrokes ( so that i can type L and O without touching the keyboard tongue.gif )

button #6 was set to cycle the dpi ( through the action menu, it automatically resets to the first step when i'm on the third one and press the button again )

when i exit the software buttons #4 + #5 increase/decrease the dpi and button #6 does nothing :/

mouse fw version is 1.02, too scared to update it in case the button latency increases tongue.gif

reposting the whole thing in corsair forums ^ hope i get an informative reply

I got this mouse yesterday, and software for it is absolutely horrendous.

I tried to install it and it froze my computer every time. I had to copy and paste the file into my computer.

If that's not bad enough, the lift-off distance doesn't change in the setting. Low = Medium = High. And it is stuck on High, which makes FPS really hard to play

And finally, if I plug in another mouse, the DPI goes crazy. I browse at 2000 and it felt like 3000. I had to unplug it and plug it back in for it to go back to normal.

Its terrible. If they don't fix the software, then the mouse is unuseable for me, which is a huge shame since its one of the most comfortable mice I've used recently.

Someone got pics of the internals for those?
The dignitas edition looks fantastic imo, but it's the laser sensor. I'm curious if the trampstamp optical internals would fit inside.

For small hands like me, palm grip was hell on the Corsair Sabre. My ring and pinky finger felt very uncomfortable in palm and was horrible for a long period of gaming.
