already played human revolution, and already pre ordered mankind divided biggrin.gif

and I agree deus ex is the best cyberpunk game atm (at least until cyberpunk 2077 comes I'm having high hopes for that one), what I wanted is a game to play with now to make waiting for mankind divided easier rolleyes.gif

Hey, at least Mankind Divided comes out in just over a month. Also, ignoring the cyberpunk requirement, a phenomenally designed story-driven Sci-Fi game everybody ought to play is SOMA. Here is my thread about it:

By the way, how many times have you played Deus Ex and when was the last time you played it? Not Human Revolution but the original. Sorry if I asked this already.

If you haven't played it much and in a while, I suggest replaying it with Deus Ex: Revision on Steam. If you would rather use Aggressive Defense System instead of the Spy Drone, then also install Biomod in the main menu of Revision. Biomod and Shifter overhauls break the Spy Drone augmentation which is why I say this, but they improve the game otherwise (adding things like climbing mechanics from Thief albeit clunkier, and also better balance).

I own Deus Ex: Revision but haven't had the time to get in to it ... I started it but just couldn't continue as I had so many other current titles begging for attention ...

If I ever have the proper time and focus to try again, I will; after playing for a long time on a 1440p G sync screen, it's still very hard to get over the graphical inferiority of such older great works; I had the same issue playing the old Syndicate and Syndicate Wars games in DOSBOX ... just couldn't get over the clunkiness; though the original Syndicate games are probably the most fun I've ever had in gaming.

Revision has surprisingly decent texture quality and a DX9 renderer for those who didn't know. It still looks old of course, but it helps. Graphics don't cause an issue for me thankfully, especially in a game as content heavy as Deus Ex. Also getting super high frame rates isn't a bad tradeoff, especially if said frame rate is high enough for blur reduction (120 or more). Although Revision runs surprisingly poorly for what it is. 80-143 FPS usually on a GTX 980 Ti, i7 6700k @ 4.6 GHz, 16GB DDR4 3000, at 2560 x 1440.

My main issue however is the unbalanced stealth and primitive aiming system; Revision fixes neither. To address the former I opt not to do non-lethal stealth, and for the latter I just use Cheat Engine to give myself extra skill points in the beginning to put into the weapons skills I want to use.

The game is still ridiculously fun at higher level. One of the most powerful player characters ever.

@boredgunner

be sure I will give it a try, although I know I hate bad graphics, I understand graphics is not everything, and even tho I'm a gamer since late 1990's but I have issues with enjoying older games after getting used to modern games graphics and mechanics, but thanks for the help bro I appreciate it thumb.gif

until now the most interesting suggestion I see is the game Satellite Reign, havnt tried it yet, I will and report back.

keep it up guys, more suggestions are welcome smile.gif

Not my favorite play style but very well written and a great story ...
