Something Small (and Wicked) This Way Comes... - Page 138

First of all,hello everyone!

I am also one happy pre order guy for an Bh7...looked out for a high quality case after some disappointment with a Phanteks Enthoo Primo with internal watercooling (all radiator slots were filled, nice workout for moving around thumb.gif ).

Now,planning with a white Bh7 (without windows wink.gif ) and a 120/240mm radiator + external 1080 MoRa3.... so,curious about the build quality and touch at all... there are not many Caselabs/Mountain Mods available at stores,so i am depending on reviews and Build logs.

if not noticed, i am from germany...so excuse my bad school english!

Well this is reassuring. I'm no aerodynamics scientist but I figured maybe all the air would just go over the CPU then out the back and leaving the graphics card in its own hot pocket, but if I have 2 intakes on top (1 in front) maybe they would create enough positive pressure to make the air go everywhere or something? or maybe the fans on the GPU itself does a good enough job to push its hot air into the case so it gets caught in the "current".

Even with a 300 mm card you might get away with slim profile fans in front. Silverstone have one (black/white) that is only 15 mm thick. Just be aware of the psu cable plug position on the card.

Ok. I think I'll just get a zotac card and make fans on the side if necessary thumb.gif

edit: just ordered pc parts, no longer need my wallet

So this is a bit off topic but seeing how so many will be considering the Corsair SF450 and SF600 PSUs, I wanted to share this. Reviewers were sent the worst possible case scenario units with CapXon caps on the minor rails, whereas retail units actually have a mix of CapXon (not really well regarded, but plenty enough for that purpose) and Nichicon (one of the best brands) caps. Mine has the latter, and I would imagine it tests even better on the minor rails than what the media have seen:

Replacing the fan is also simple if you want something quieter, it takes just ground and 12 V:

So take any 3 pin voltage controlled 92 mm fan, desolder/disconnect the tach wire and re-use the fan header from this fan. That's basically it. You will void warranty though, just in case anyone was wondering biggrin.gif

@Case Labs - any chance you can update us on the shipping ETA of the fruit color BH's? Last I saw you were doing white which many are reporting have shipped now. Thanks for any info!
