Something Small (and Wicked) This Way Comes... - Page 264

Thread Starter
Not so ironic wink.gif I guess I could better describe my new position as IT/Engineering. For the rest of this year, most of my time will mostly be used for IT infrastructure (ERP System) and optimizing CNC code for faster & more flexible manufacturing. By year end, I expect to be buried in design work thumb.gif This will let me do deep dives into specific projects which I have always preferred over operations, so I'm happy smile.gif

So if the project is on hold just send me the prototype you do have and I'll find something to do with it.

Hi,

which option would be better for cooling, a tower like nh-u9b + top fans or a top blower like nh-c14s?

I would pick the Noctua NH-U9B (discontinued product replaced by NH-U9S) for its horizontal airflow and very small footprint. I had it on a 6600K, outstanding temps !

The NH-C14S is also an excellent choice. I have in in my BH7 with two top fans it fits like a glove.

Great temps too.

I also use the Nh-c14s. I have the BH4, two 25mm will also fit with nh-c14s. But I use the thinner 15mm on top for exhaust and intake fan below the cooler. I read somewhere exhaust from below is better. I'm having 30-35c for idle cpu. I love the BH4. It is compact, clean and I like the case round edges

Anyone order bullet case accessory before? I had an order for lighting mount for the BH4. I am not sure when it'll be shipping, not sure if it is the same as the case processing time (9-10 weeks processing time)
