As for me, I bought 27s because I did not want to buy one of this gaming Asus Aser overpriced **** with horrible QA and childish design.

Have you tried increasing the Freesync range?

The 144hz AHVA panels have higher contrast (1100:1 vs 800:1) but tend to come with preset green/yellow tints. The Eizo FS2735 has good color accuracy and high contrast, but is very expensive. Bezel color impacts perceived black depth more than small contrast differences which is why matte grey and white bezels are the best.

I can agree with that if it in fact turned out to be true. But since we don't actually know, it remains an option. And finding out for sure is also an option as well as a chargeback or paypal dispute if it came down to it. So if they want to play fk around more power to them. I personally would chose the 27A if it in fact did overclock to 96 -120Hz over the 27A or the 2795, and the reasoning would be A. if that it over clocks as it says, B. it has a remote and an OSD, and D. it has a decent stand. I likely won't be buying an AMD card in the near future so the freesync one is not a selling point to me at all. The price difference between the three is not even an issue. So there there is actually more than Zero sense to why i would choose it. Cool?

You however make fine and deserved points to the guy asking, and at least give him something to think about. But get laid or smoke some weed or something, damn..
Like i agree with a lot you say, but there are other reasons for different people that they may not matter. The bezel thing making blacks look grey, is a GREAT point. However it's meaningless to me as it's almost always so dark or low light in my room i can't even see the frame at all, see so not everything always applies to everyone.

Input options and color adjustments are the main interesting thing here for me. With DVI being phased out, DP may become a necessity. Color adjustments are a welcome relief from having to deal with color profiles and utilities to hold them in gaming. That said, not brave enough to jump on any new Korean monitor. Must see at least a 100 satisfied owners here and no nasty surprises over a 6 month period before I take serious interest.

So I'm looking at this listing, the "Crossover 27 FAST 144", is this a different panel to the 27A 120Hz or just a rebadge?

144Hz through Displayport but I can't see anything about FreeSync...

Interesting that the Cobol basically disappeared and these pop up. No info on Crossover site about these yet.
If they are true 144Hz panels, there are only two 144Hz 27" 1440P panels made, M270DAN02.3 in the Acer Predator / Asus MG279Q and M270Q008 V0 that is in the Asus PG279Q and Acer XB271HU. It could be the latter as it looks like it is basically the zero frame design as in the later 2 models, but it's one of the two.

Strange. There is no info about this "Crossover 27 FAST 144" model on official site.

Hi all,

I got the 27S as well and comparing to my old qnix 2710, it has by far better colours and overall quality and it's almost with no backlight bleeding which was a surprise to me. Also no dead pixels.

I do have an issue though with the display port. I am using this cable and I can't get any signal. With DVI and HDMI the screen works perfectly, but I can't use the freesync.

Is it just an incompatible cable or is there anything else I can try?

Many thanks.
