144Hz through Displayport but I can't see anything about FreeSync...
now that's interesting if someone can find out more info. it's not the first time ebay sellers from s.korea put marketing gimmicks though.

dream-seller is the only seller on ebay who has stock of the crossover 27 FAST btw. it seems there's 2 bid listings of this monitor model. probably trying to gauge how much people would buy this for on average?

I got the 27S as well and comparing to my old qnix 2710, it has by far better colours and overall quality and it's almost with no backlight bleeding which was a surprise to me. Also no dead pixels.

I do have an issue though with the display port. I am using this cable and I can't get any signal. With DVI and HDMI the screen works perfectly, but I can't use the freesync.

Is it just an incompatible cable or is there anything else I can try?

Many thanks.

Pixel perfect? I also had a qnix 2710 before, is 27S worth the upgrade? And how is the response time and ghosting if there's any?

Hiya,

No, I just got the cheaper. I got the 27S because my 2710 died, otherwise I wouldn't bother. For me the difference in the color quality and clarity is very visible but I wouldn't upgrade to it to be honest. I don't play any fps, but "just cause 3" seem perfect to me, no noticeable ghosting or issues.

Edit: I also tried another DP cable and had no luck, is the monitor picky or did I get one with a faulty port?

The only reason I ask is because my Qnix 2710 also died. I don't know if I want to pay the premium price of the 144hz monitors with inferior colors and terrible QC.

So far 27S looks like the most appealing option compared to 2795 and the new Qnix, should I go for it?

I 'd say wait to see what's the deal with the 144hz version of it, and then go for it. I am very happy with mine so far.

I have a Crossover 32s (2560x1440) 75hz and freesync on its way, I ordered it from Dreamseller on ebay...

It was at a toss up between the 324k or the 32s and ended up going with the 32s as I didnt want to lose that much performance pushing the 4k monitor... I'm running a Sapphire Nitro fury, hope the 32s works fine with the Fury.. If it works good I might turn around and order the 324k...

What I did notice was the 324k shipped from California and the 32s was coming from Korea, this bothers me a bit.. I hate to think my monitor is riding by itself all that way.. I hope it doesnt meet any unruly shipping employees...

glad to see even the korean market is making progress, 75hz is still to low for me though, my 980m laptop gpu runs majority of games including ffxiv and blops 3 at 100hz 100 fps with no drops on high settings. and it has the ppi density of 1440p since its 17.3" form factor, i know its a diff market, just saying hope progress keeps going up up and away 144hz or bust for desktop, no excuse when a laptop IPS display does 100hz lol

It will still arrive in 2-3 days, and you can quote me on that one lol. I run fury x crossfire @ 4k freesync. If a fury is close to an x than at 1440p your gonna get hella performance

If they are true 144Hz panels, there are only two 144Hz 27" 1440P panels made, M270DAN02.3 in the Acer Predator / Asus MG279Q and M270Q008 V0 that is in the Asus PG279Q and Acer XB271HU. It could be the latter as it looks like it is basically the zero frame design as in the later 2 models, but it's one of the two.

The XB271HU actually uses a M270DAN02.6 and that Crossover listing states a 8mm bezel size which makes it likely that's the panel they use (the M270Q008 V0 and the M270DAN02.3 have a thicker bezel IIRC) but I could be wrong. If it's the 02.6 panel that could be really interesting since it's better than the other two in terms of backlight defects.
