Replacing EK CoolStream XE 360mm with Hardware Lab 360GTS

Thread Starter
I have two EK CoolStream XE 360mm which I want to replace with Hardware Lab 360GTS radiators. Currently, I am using 3 360mm radiators to cool intel i7 5820k and two EVGA GTX 980 Ti Hydrocoppers.

I will like to know if there will be any increase in CPU and GPU temperature if I replace the EK CoolStream XE 360mm with Hardware Lab 360GTS. The EKs are too thick for my liking. Moreover, I need a bit more space between my resevior and the top radiators. Thanks

I wouldn't worry about it, you might have a slight increase in the water temperature, but 3 x 360mm rads is over kill for 3 components biggrin.gif

i think overkill would be subjective here tbh.

I myself have 2 x 420mm rads 45mm thick, to cool a oc and delided 4770k and a 1500mhz oc 980 ti. and my gpu temps hit 46 during hard gaming. And thats with all my fans at arround 600rpm.

In the future i would like to add another 420 rad to decrease temps abit more, and still keep the very quiet setting i have today.

PS: when playing WoW i hit 36-40c - but thats not that gpu demanding.

I just want to run my fans at low speeds. That's the reason for going for the 3 rads.

Do you know your water temperature?

I will be getting a temperature sensor to do that soon. At the moment my cpu is around 30C, and the two GPUs are at 26C. I can get better temps, by getting rid of the air bubbles in my system. My current loop isn't the final one. I am just testing the equipment.
