C3/C6/EIST/C1E in ivy bridge using gigabyte z77 motherboard

Thread Starter
Hi,

Quick question, is it good to enable/auto the setting for C3/C6 state? How much would it impact gaming performance or would it have any impact at all?

I want to have my rig perform very good but I want to have some power savings also if im just surfing or checking my files.

Any reply would be greatly appreciated!smile.gif

they should have zero impact.

i have them all enabled. but c7 is not available for use with a dedicated card. you need to only have intel igpu and render standby enabled for it to enter c7. c6 is maximum possible with a dgpu
