From left to right, I have Lutro'0's recommended crimper which I purchased from mainframecustom.com, a greenlee crimper I boughht from Amazon warehouse deals at a 1/3 of the price, and a generic set I purchased from PPCS. The only set that wasn't properly calibrated was the Greenlee crimpers. After some small adjustments, I was able to get decent crimps. LutroO's crimpers worked nicely for pretty much every terminal pin I tried which includes, Female ATX, female fan, fat female power commonly referred as MOLEX, and SATA power. All the terminals I've been using are good quality MOLEX brand. Now here is my issue. Lutro0's crimpers SUCK BADLY when crimping female Dupont terminals. The crimps come out straight and seem ok, except when you trey and insert the terminal into the connector. The crimper fails with almost every crimp to properly crimp around the wire on the rear of the terminal. Now, I know that I am crimping properly, because when I use the Greenlee crimpers, my crimps come out fine. This has only been a issue with Dupont terminals. The worst of the three crimpers isthe set I purchased from PPCS. That one makes usable crimps however not what I would consider to be great. Also, the cheap crimpers from PPCS does make better crimps using Dupont terminals then Lutro0's recommended crimpers. Ok. I'm done complaining now. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

fyi
i can not recommend these enough ( the duponts suck a bit because of the point - i dont buy molex branded DuPont any more
as for crimpers i have the mdpc ratchet crimpers, i prefer these. and they are much quicker imo
they are made ( i think a jp company ) by a company called engineer

the "11" refers to the jaw, i also bought the 12 jaw, but imo it is useless for us . they make perfect crimps

The good news is that the 1/2 liter I added had no leaks. All I can say is that this system looks sweet and I can't wait to have it running. I also figured out a way to add my second SM951 AHCI version using this sweet little adapter in the picture below. It allows me to utilize the PCIe slots in between the video cards. I also like that it mounts vertically for better air flow. I did purchase it from Amazon.com but they are currently out of stock. The link at the bottom appears to have them in stock My SM951 NVME version is occupying the M.2 slot.

The previous link I gave does not seem to give the option to buy. Below is a link for another store that does. This adapter is sold out on Amazon where I bought mine, but other then the link below I can't find it anywhere else.

Just click on the webshop icon and choose your desired payment method. I have tested it and it works with no issues. I am going to try RAID 0 with my SM951 located in my M.2 slot. If it works, then I'll update.

One more thing. What makes this adapter so awesome is that you can position it in the blocked PCIe slot next to a liquid cooled GPU.

I am a firm believer in using the right tool for the job. Regarding my issues with Dupont crimp terminals I saw this on ebay and couldn't pass it up. For $19 I couldn't resist.

I might miss my 3 day deadline for completion but I'm very close. I'm just finishing up making some more cables. I have three more USB cables and two more aquabus cables. Here's a couple pics. After completion I'll finish tie wrapping and then another leak test,

Ok..I finally finished everything and began my next leak test. It did not go well in the beginning because the reservoir began to leak instantly. After removing and investigating I discovered a broken rubber gasket . After I replaced it I put everything back together and I have all three pumps running at 100%. I am amazed at how quickly the system is bleeding the air with all pumps running. It's only been running for 45 minutes and most of the bubbles are gone. It's so much nicer because I haven't had to tip the case or do anything other then let the pumps do their job.

This has been adventures for you, I'm glad its working now.
I hope you make a sample video once all done thumb.gif

SUCCESS!!!!!!!

The new motherboard is working and I updated the newest BIOS with no issues. Now for the fun to begin. Even though everything booted into Win 10 from my previous build, windows does not recognize my license. I was planning on doing a clean install anyways, but In order to not have to PAY for it, I have to jump through hoops to install Win 8 first before I can go back to win 10. Unless somebody has a better idea.

Finally up and running. This was taken while updating the BIOS.
