Well... if you use Mayhems Biocide it makes your water crystal clear but whatever works for you, it's all good
How do you like your M/B with combination of 6950X any cons/pros from your standpoint smile.gif

The only reason I chose this board is because of the 7 pci-e3 slots and the 10G. With what I'm doing, using Forensic kit and additional 20 agents I'm adding all my home network systems GPU's together ( 6 systems) to be able to gain massive GPU cuda acceleration and increase substantial description speed thumb.gif

Atm.on my main workstation I'm using 3 Titan black and Asus AC adapter so there is no room left for anything else, but soon enough I'm getting 6x 1080Tis and making them single slot, well thy are already singleslot, just getting brackets and water blocks, that would leave me still with PCi-e for adapter smile.gif that's where this board comes handy, also adding switch to 10G and move large files between systems and I'm talking TB daily will be nice.

I love the board. I just wish Asus was a little quicker with the BIOS updates. The most recent update increased my benchmark performance with no changes in settings. Surpassed 19000 in TS which I was unable to do prior to the update. Stability is spot on as long as it is properly powered. Overclocks easy. I prefer it to the Rampage because of dual PLX. The ability to run Multiple GPUs at X16 while at the same time not sacrificing bandwidth for M.2 and PCIe M.2 NVMe drives. Running dual TXPs with a 960 pro in the M.2 slot and 2 SM951s NVMe via PCIe at full bandwidth is not possible with the Rampage.

Thanks a lot. I should have made it clear that I upgraded my system but I'm still waiting for the parts, currently I'm still using my Rampage 4 Black along with 4960X and 3x Titan Black, once I put my new workstation together I will add my current system to home network like other system, it will be huge addition to my GPU cuda boost, tbh. I'm very excited but nervous at the same time.

Reason I'm asking about the board... I read a lot of negative comments about asus x99 chip and people have some issues I don't know if that is still the case e.g reboots, not posting.

Also since you have the board, is there an issue while placing GPUs into slots, specifically do they need to be in order e.g. 3x gpu's slot 1, 3, 5 or can I use any slot combination, as I mentioned I will be getting more 1080s and they will be single slot I want to put them in slot 1,2,3,4 and maybe 5 if get 5 of them and occupied last 2-3 pci-e for other devices, will there be a problem or should be OK.

This will be my first WS M/B with 7 pci-e slots so I'm not sure if I should worry about this part.

Thanks

That's pretty quiet for 3 pumps and 30 fans and your temps are pretty good to thumb.gif
You have some awesome system, many can only dream of biggrin.gifthumbsupsmiley.png

Today I got my CPU specool.gif but because Asus is behind with my particular M/B it will take 2-3 weeks, I'm OK with that, but I'm very exited and patients its not my thing biggrin.gif
