Finished my $11,000 build. - Page 7

I don't care for a lot of bling in my builds, but I do like to see some of the aesthetically pleasing builds others put together. My builds tend towards boring but functional. I think the only mistake the OP made was posting the cost. I see plenty of builds that probably cost even more that don't catch any flak for what was spent on them. Just list the gear, let others figure it up.

That said, this thread makes a pretty good argument in favor of other guys not posting their builds, so we've got that going for us. rolleyes.gif

So get a case-labs case and go hard line. I already have the rad outside the case so I am not going to go with internal rads at this point. I am not sure what else I could do.

I thought about it but I am not sure what the point would be. The larger case does me no good since the rad is outside the case.

Individually braided cables, tasteful lighting - don't oversaturate in a single color that overpowers the rest of the system's colors, hide unwanted cable management, build with a color theme in mind etc.

There's a lot of things you can do to make it look better without spending a lot of money smile.gif

Just to show what I mean about lighting, I went with a "clean" theme of stainless, black and white with a splash of ROG red, distilled water and white light. At night, the lighting is very subtle too. This picture is a little overexposed but you get the idea.

Heck, you don't even make soft tubing look good if you route it in a nice way. This was my system back in 2012.

Looks like the Caselabs TX10 can take a 420 MO-RA radiator with this attachment http://www.caselabs-store.com/tx10-drop-in-top-and-bottom-radiator-mounts-super-mounts/

But good god the TX10 is a big case http://www.caselabs-store.com/magnum-tx10-doors-pricing-varies/

Nice build dude.
Thanks for sharing it with us. It's always great to read about extreme builds people do and the fun you have doing it. Shame so many naysayers want to condem just because you spent a bit of cash on a PC.
