Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum announced - Page 3

I'm going to have to try it just for the light actuation force. Some games make my fingers sore (and I don't even play MOBA's).

PMW3366 uses quite a bit more power than AM010.

G900 run-to-die is 32 hours with lights off and 1ms report rate. At 2ms, which G602 can't exceed, it's 34 hours. If we'd used a 1500 mAh battery instead of the 720 (roughly the same power capacity as 2xAA) we'd get ~68 hours run to die with lights off at the cost of ~15 extra grams of weight.

In practice, I charge it about once a week and it takes about two hours to charge to full. Tradeoffs and compromise are always part of product design. In this case we wanted to hit as low of a weight target as possible while exceeding the performance of G700 - which we did by almost 4x.

So there won't be a larger capacity battery sold separately?

He wouldn't use that mouse if there was something better. It's a compromise to want a 3366 in the G100s shell.

Edit: Btw. besides aesthetics im quite happy with this one.

Jordan used a DeathAdder? I only seen him use a Xai for years before switching over to Logitech.

For such dimensions the weight is decent considering it is a wireless mouse design. Apparently, they seen the complaints about the excess weight of their previous designs.

Before the 2010´s EG was sponsored  by Razer, but i cant remember the exact timeframe, as i need all that capacity remembering my own stuff and dealing with SS at that time has overwritten nearly everything.

Ass doesn't looks as good/comfy as G402/502, but I have to try it first.

The entire design doesn't look super comfortable -- it's no G302/3 though. I don't think it would fit my style. The arch of the rear reminds me of the Zowie ZA, which I am not a fan of.

I do like how they continue to try to improve the actuation of the main buttons by using a pivoting button piece instead of using the typical bending plastic design. Too bad they decided to have a major gap between the buttons and the main shell.
