PC port works good but you can only play at 16:9 aspect ratio. If you have 3 screens or an ultrawide screen the game will be stretched and there is no known work around.

Anyway, the game takes place in future Manhattan where an apocalypse sort of a disaster happens and you need to escort some girl in her search for her hometown. Give this game a go for sure as it has some good moments.

Another game I would like to recommend and put on the same list would be Mafia II... The game has great story and character development all over. From the beginning to the end I always felt attached to the characters. It is basically GTA but in a smaller scale of course. While waiting for a GTAV sale, I strongly recommend you to give Mafia 2 a shot as it should not be expensive. thumb.gif

Ah yes, Mafia 2 is another. It's so clearly inspired by Goodfellas, minus all of the great dialogue of course but it's still fun. Sleeping Dogs is another candidate.

+1 on Wolf Among Us... What a thrill that was. I will grab the other mentioned telltale games in a sale. I already have them on my list. thumb.gif

It is kind of a Murder Mystery Horror Detective Puzzle Anime Visual Novel Story Driven Dialogue game.

No idea where to put it biggrin.gif

I think the game also works well with a Controller and connecting PC to TV and chiling on the couch should work great. It is Japanese/English only I think. So if purists like the japanese voices they can activate those instead of the english one.

I recommend those of you who like puzzle games to try out

'The Talos Principle'
http://store.steampowered.com/app/257510

Absolutly glorious looking game, I'm not great at describing games but here goes:
It is a First Person puzzle game, which involves a lot of broad thinking. Using Lazers, shields and jigsaw pieces to solve puzzles. Your main goal is to collect multiple Jigsaw pieces to unlock areas (very similar to 'Crystal Maze Tv show) and then ultimatly climb a tower. The game throws in these terminals where you answer phylisofical questions and the narrator who talks to you during the game with questions and quotes which make you think.
I think the game is on the new unreal engine but i'm not entirly sure, it does look glorious though and is quite well optimised.

The 'Lost Planet' series is good.
The 1st one is by far the best, 2nd one is ok but it focussed too much on Co-op and lost the story a bit, the 3rd one got back to the more story side of things and was on par with the 1st.
It's a 3rd person shooter, with robots and big guns. You also get a grapple of sorts to help move around the maps and also us it to fight the larger insects by grappling on them and climbing to shoot the squisy parts.
Plot across the 3, is basically a planet humans found which is cold af. inhabited by these ginormous insect like things with glowing bodyparts. This glowing part is what humans want, using it as a sort of energy called T Energy which used to run the robots you use to mine and also to keep warm. Each game (1, " & 3) each have thier own stories for the character you're playing, but it boils down to we want their resource so we kill them all to take it (Avatar).

Talos Principle is a great game - but for the record it is on Unreal Engine 3 AFAIK

Still looks good though!

The 'Lost Planet' series is good.

I never played the Lost Planet series. Was going to buy the 3rd one last month on a sale but decided not to for some reason. Maybe it was due to mixed reviews on Steam... I will give it a shot on a next sale. thumb.gif

I always though of the Lost Planet as Dx demos more than games... Tried to play through 1 and 2, didn't impress me at all, unfortunately frown.gif It may be good though, I don't know.

Thief: Deadly Shadows
Personally I preferred it to its predecessors Thief 1 and 2. Great atmosphere!

Need for Speed Underground 1 & 2
When it comes to arcade racing, these two were a new benchmark back in its day and are still great fun to play.

Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed
Good gameplay and an amazing insight in the story and cars that made Porsche the legendary brand it is today.

Half-Life 1 & 2 (including 2's episodes 1 & 2)
Although for obvious reasons these titles may not be missing in any decent collection. Incredible depth and immersion for their times, these games set the foundation for FPS games we know today just as Doom did in its day.

Quake III Arena
Already 17 years old and no other online FPS has even come close to this game today. The level of speed, simplicity and direct controls paired with amazing weapon and level design have laid a benchmark for any other game in this direction.

Audiosurf
A simple indie game that lets you steer a spaceship to collect and dodge blocks on a track that is designed around the music you import. Great short time fun with a high replayability depending on the size of your music library. Audiosurf 2 is good as well, adding more game modes and online functions, but is basically the same as its predecessor.

Castle Crashers
Nothing mixes 2D Jump'n'Run with Hack'n'Slash with 4-Player-Feature so well as this jewel. Its distinctive art style will not only keep you entertained but generously laughing throughout the game.

BattleBlock Theater
Coming from the same indie studio as Castle Crashers, expect this 2D multiplayer Jump'n'Run platformer to keep you at least as entertained and engaged as its predecessor.

Game Dev Tycoon
Ever thought of building your own game studio? This 2D strategy game looks as entertaining as it is and will keep you tweaking your games' features and goals for hours.
