On topic, my daily recommendation: Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.
Loved this game, it's an absolute classic and one of those select few games that left an impression from when I played it as a youngster thumb.gif

Thats how I feel about EA too most of the time. 2 games I bought that were in EA were Grim Dawn and Guardians of Orion. Grim Dawn was a month from release with 99% completion. And the second game was like a dollar on a sale smile.gif

Well at first I thought there were the same game but good thing I did a research. Appereantly the one he mentioned is a sequel to the first game.

"Dreamfall: The Longest Journey" is actually the sequel to "The Longest Journey".
The story is a direct continuation of the first part (The Longest Journey), but they're designed in such a way that you have plenty of information to play them seperately.
They're actually making a sequel (or have made it recently) right now, which is also available through steam. I haven't gotten around to checking it out yet, but I definitely will at some point.

The order of the games is as such:

1. The Longest Journey
2. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey
3. Dreamfall: Chapters

EDIT: In hindsight, I realise I should have been more clear about this in my original post redface.gif

Played neither of the games but appreantely gameplay is also different right? When I looked up the longest Journey, I saw that it is a point and click game. The one you mentioned those is a regular action type of a game without point and click elements right? Let me know if I am mistaken.

Exactly, The Longest Journey is straight up point and click, whereas Dreamfall takes a more action-oriented approach. It still keeps some of the puzzle aspects though, but it moved away from the point and click aspects when Dreamfall came out.

Dreamfall is a no-brain recommendation for anyone who enjoyed Beyond Good and Evil.

Another Suggestion. For those of you who enjoyed Ori and the blind forest. You should try out Unravel, I know it's an EA game but it is relativly cheap and very very good. Quite a sad story which i wont go into because you have to discover it yourself.
It's a side scrolling platform/mild puzzle game. the graphics and style are imo beautiful and the music adds to the game soo much

I so want to play that game but kinda waiting for a sale as well redface.gif .. The gameplay and graphics really took my attention. Adding it under puzzle and platform.

Anyone into old school FPS games?

Well I got one for you.

I started playing "WRACK" recently and I am quite enjoying myself. The game was released back inm 2014 but it is still an enjoyable game. Graphics look like Borderlands, gameplay similar to Doom. Sure the level design and variety are not there like both games but at the end of the game Wrack is an indie FPS. It is one of those games where you can pick up and play any time. Story is totally forgettable, and you are better of just skipping conversations. Game is short but there are few other things to do. Not to mention Steam Workshop with various contents and mods.

I made a little video about the game. Currently it is on a 60% sale as well. A fun little gem I would say.

OMG... 'A Story About My Uncle'. Such a great little short game. It's relatively cheap on Steam now and it goes on sale at least once a year.

Basically, it's an action adventure/ platform game. No shooting, no killing of any sort; just some nice "spiderman" like game play. You grapple around from floating platform to the next. I can't recommend this enough to someone who enjoys platform games with a tiny bit of exploration added.

I'm glad I picked it up when it was on sale, but I was severely disappointed that the game was so short; I had just started to get the flow of the game and characters and then it suddenly ended. I got wrapped up into the story in the first 10 minutes of the game, which made it so difficult for me to believe it was over. One play-through took me about 3 hours (with a little exploration and a lot of failing).

You can unlock some nifty "cheats" as you find items on your play-throughs and complete achievements.

In short, the environment is well done, the re-playablility is there for sure. I give it a 8/10 only because of how short it was. If it were 5-8 hours longer, I would give it a 10 for sure. thumb.gif

Hey,

Im looking for a game similar to Age of Mythology , I've played Rome total war 2 but the wars are separate from the city building, though there isn't much city building in the Rome series.
