I have a couple more: Zero-K, an RTS inspired by Total Annihilation, with a focus on tactical strategy over resource management; and Oolite, a clone/reimplementation of the original Elite with a decently active modding community. I noticed someone mentioned Xonotic earlier, so I'll +1 that as well.

You seem to be a RTS guy. Thats very cool. Looking at the list pretty much most good RTS came out at late 90s or early 2000s...

Zero-K added under RTS but I can NOT find a release date for it. Do you know it by any chance?
Also oolite.. Should I add it under Simulation?

no offense but those are terrible way to contribute in this thread, we need more than your hundred games list, we need people to actually elaborate on why do they recommend the games, if I want a list like that I'd just browse steam tags, granted not all available on steam but you get my point.

Yesterday I was about to mention how bloated (= useless) this thread has become, but I decided to keep quiet this time and let someone else take the heat smile.gif Thanks, btw.

Well I DO agree that people needs to tell us more in detail about games and why they recommend it..

I will still add the games on the list for recommendation number purposes though. But yeah. More detail and info is always welcome.

We have good number of people that tells us in some way why they recommend the games though.

No and I don't think I am going to. Already played the standard one with 100% completion.

Or do you know if they added a lot to the game? I have to be honest I don't know much about the definitive Edition.
