Are you able to reprogram the sniper button to do something else like a commAnd in game as opposed to lowering DPI?

Yes.

finally decided to pull the trigger on this mouse, couldn't be happier

I loved the G502 sensor, but the narrow shape gave me hand cramps

I tried the G402 in store and it still felt too narrow

I've always liked the M65 (bought one at best buy, returned it) shape - it pretty much fit how I setup the RAT7 adjustments - and how smoothly it glided with it's large teflon feet..........but hated the sensor

M40 just felt like a waste without a side sniper button (that I would rebind to a new key)

I loved the RAT7's shape (since I could adjust it to what I wanted), but never liked the weight

I was very happy with the RAT TE for the longest time (what I was using up until now), but no matter how many aftermarket feet and mousepads I tried, these RAT mice just don't glide smoothly.

I really loved the light weight of the RAT TE, but I'm actually not noticing the weight of this M65 Pro that much. The RGB customization is pretty lackluster as usual with every gaming company (seriously why is Razer the best one at this?)

And I forgot how good this sensor is. I usually get bored within a few matches of BF4, but I went all day with this mouse. Like being reunited with an old friend

The G900 seemed interesting, but it looks funky to me and the price is just way too high (for me) for a mouse. I just wanted the G502 in a wider shape, and this mouse is finally it.

Just got my m65 PRO today to replace my M65 RGB biggrin.gif Can't wait to see what my score is like in CS GO!!

I haven't used an optical mouse in MANY years and I'm very excited.

Give it another few months and the price will drop just like it did for all the G303, G402 and G502 models.

So whats the general consensus?

bit heavy, stiff buttons, awkward weight balance without weights in it, but overall not bad if you don't mind that. side buttons are incredibly stiff though, sniper button especially (if you use that). mouse3 was very stiff too.

sensor performs well. button lag is a little high... good build quality though it seems.

I've just got mine, but as a quick note the sensor is a massive improvement over the Razer Taipan I used previously, and despite being a larger and heavier mouse than the former it glides a lot more smoothly over my hard pad. I have mixed feelings about the sniper button, I actually think the mouse would be more comfortable without it.

I love mine, on my Goliathus speed the weight is a non issue. I started playing Just Cause 2 again and noticed that i get way WAY more headshots even from long distances without even aiming. Ive got small hands so for me the sniper issue is a non issue, while gaming my thumb barely, if at all, even rests on the sniper button. Its quite stiff too so all the people saying we can press it by accident are totally unwarranted.
