Review of Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum Wireless Gaming Mouse - by Ino - Page 57

I confused Tiger Gaming feet with Hotline Games feet...not sure why. Was under the impression they were the same for some reason. Steelseries Rival 100, and Zowie EC-1A are the best 'stock' mouse feet I've come across to date. Both as smooth as the Hyperglides on my DeathAdder.

OK so apparently I Googled seeing if I could find anyone with mouse feet problem cause my front foot is worn and now making FULL contact while the rear foot is making near none

Found several people who had a g9 the old one and they said it was a defect cause they had uneven mouse feet. They were afraid it was going to rip up their cloth pad which is what I'm afraid of.. Not to mention now that the front one makes full contact the glide has decreased greatly so I'm going to contact them about replacement feet today. As a note the g303 never had this problem in terms of wear, Just looked like the normal fading away feet

edit: contacted their support and sent some pictures. Will see what they say!

Anyone else experience their front mouse foot having extreme wear and the rear one look like it's not being used?

One month since the last post and the mouse is only 3 months old.... seems that everybody that wanted one already have it and the rest are looking for something else.
Anyways, my Steelseries Sensei Raw died after 3 years of intensive use and im looking for a replacement. The G900 is an option but i have a couple of questions.

Dust and dirty:
My roomate bought a G502 3 months ago and its a very hard mouse to clean because there is a lot of edges and corners where the dust and dirty just build up. In the G900 the gap between the back of the mouse and the buttons really worry me because its a very narrow and deep area, seems very hard to keep it clean. Also, my hands sweat a lot, I have to clean my mouse every 2 or 3 days to keep it in good condition.
So the question is: ¿is really hard to clean months of dirty at it seems?

Battery:
I know the official numbers and I hope that it last me at least 5 years, but if the battery fails in 3 years i dont know what I'd do. I have been searching in the official Logitech Support but i cannot find a battery for this mouse. Im considering the G900 for its performance and wireless. Using the wire if the battery dies is a big no no for me so its important to be able to replace the battery if it fails.

Thanks for the answers and sorry for my english is not my first language.

Hi guys,

New to the forum and signed up to get everyone's opinion on this mouse for everyday use with some casual gaming on the side.

I currently own a Razer Orochi, which is an ambidextrous design like the G900, and have found it to be too small and uncomfortable for long periods of use.

I've been tossing up between the G502 and the G900 for a while now and I'm still undecided on whether I should just keep my Razer Orochi for travel work and have a wired mouse like the G502 for gaming and everyday work use.

Otherwise, do you guys reckon the G900 is comfortable enough and well worth the money to completely replace my Razer Orochi wireless?

Thanks in advanced!

Hell yea the G900 is worth it. I would rather the price be $89-99. However i don't have a big issue dropping the $ on this mouse.

>than your current mouse
>most certainly better than the 502

Has great clicks, great button latency, solid weight, amazing sensor, wireless+wired.

This mouses direction is the future to me. The technology will only get better from here on, soon wires will be as rare as a Dwight Howard Post move.

The mouse is on par OR even better than most wired mice we have currently. If you can get on with the Shape & can afford it, you will enjoy it.

Thanks for the response!

Seems like a great investment considering all the rave reviews I'm hearing.

Also, that Dwight Howard reference was priceless! smile.gif)

Well since this mouse was otherwise sitting unused I decided to have some fun with it. Removed the battery as well as both side buttons and ended up with an 85g G900. Likin it thumb.gif
