Yeah that would be a bit much to stack and the bottom Corepad foot wasn't flush when I placed it. The glue was so thick I couldn't get it readjusted after that perfectly. These hotlines are spot on and satisfyingly do well with G900 gliding on otsu.

Good to hear. The pictures make them look OEM, too. thumb.gif

I am intending on taking out my battery. Can anyone who has actually done this confirm that it's not a difficult process? What step was the hardest? And lastly, how common is it to do?
There's two threads on how to take out the battery. One in this thread. It's not hard at all if you've ever disassembled a controller before.
The most important thing is 2 things
1) don't lose the small parts
2) take your time.

that's really all there is to it.
I took apart my xbox 360 controller to perform a mod to improve the dpad. Never did it before previously. Just unscrewed the screws and took the casing apart carefully and made sure I saw how the button membranes were placed on and did it and put it back together afterwards. Controller now works great. I also took apart a 3G Deathadder (and you have to be careful because there are two PCB's attached by a VERY fragile and thin ribbon cable) without breaking them.

Just look at the pictures of how you do it and the other posts which show step by step how its done, which you already know about (I sent them to you already) and do it. And be slow and careful about it.

Make sure you have replacement hotline games mouse feet before you remove the old ones.

search for my g900 internals thread

be gentle when opening it up, as the top and bottom parts are connected by two cables at the rear.

for the battery, i used the flat handle of a tweezer to pry it out. again, be gentle. it's held by some very sticky double sided tape. if you pierce a lipo battery things can get ugly (see youtube if unfamiliar)

I got this mouse 2 weeks ago and the sensor and overall mouse is good but my one gripe is at the $149 dollar price point I really do think they could have included a desk charger of some sort i find that having to plug it in every day and a half (atleast for me with all lighting off) kinda sucks specially when i forget to plug it in haha

I've seen youtube videos of other logitech mice that use a free scroll wheel gather a ton of debris under the wheel area over time.
Is the g900 doomed to suffer a similar fate?

2 days only?

Even when I heavy game during weekend it doesn't use more than 40% battery power. I don't recharge until it's 20% or below pending when I have a chance to let it charge while I sleep.

When I had no time to game due to work, it went two weeks with just regular desktop use before low battery reminder. I use mouse on & off about 6 hours a night.

On average when I do game a couple hours a night and regular evening desktop use I run a week and a half before having to think about charging.

Something must be wrong with your battery, cause those charges above are with my light on since I was too lazy to turn off when I was fiddling with it one night.

As for the price, it's a tad high I'd agree but it's also is an over built mouse as well as had 3 yrs of R&D that inflated this product release.

This is nothing some 91% alcohol and a Q-tip can't solve. If the Q-tip is too thick, you can put microfiber cloth over a hairpin or paperclip or something...don't make mountains out of molehills.
