When I had no time to game due to work, it went two weeks with just regular desktop use before low battery reminder. I use mouse on & off about 6 hours a night.

On average when I do game a couple hours a night and regular evening desktop use I run a week and a half before having to think about charging.

Something must be wrong with your battery, cause those charges above are with my light on since I was too lazy to turn off when I was fiddling with it one night.

As for the price, it's a tad high I'd agree but it's also is an over built mouse as well as had 3 yrs of R&D that inflated this product release.

what...... how?

I play games a few hours almost every day, with light on steady no effects. And it lasts around 25-26 hours tops, which is about right since the software says max charge will last 25 hours.

28 hrs is what I'm getting and what is expected depending on use.

I was responding to member who said they were running the battery dry in less than two days. I was pointing out that would require physically moving the cursor so it doesn't fall asleep consistently 28 hours out of 48. G900 in sleep mode uses 0% power and doesn't drain the battery, pointing out that member's battery was defectively not holding it's full charge.

I used my Beats Pill red flexible rubber USB cable (got the Beats Pill as a gift). Probably the best rubber USB cable I've ever used.

Just got my G900. Very happy with it! It's replacing a Mionix Castor which has a terrible scroll wheel (G900 build quality is amazing). Also very glad to be back with Logitech ever since my G400 died.

I'm curious do you guys have the receiver plugged into the USB cable on top of your desk? Or receiver plugged directly into your computer tower? I think unplugging the receiver from the USB charging cable whenever you have to charge the mouse will get annoying, but having the receiver below my desk plugged into tower may cause signal issues? This is my first wireless mouse smile.gif

I used to plug the receiver into the cable and keep it on the desk. faster to switch when you want to recharge.
Only reason to plug it directly into your PCs USB port is for firmware update; yet I think i did not have to do that for the latest fw update.... not sure ...thinking.gif

So you used to plug receiver into cable and keep it on desk but now you have receiver plugged into PC right? Your post wasn't very clear lol

I use the wireless receiver only when using a laptop. On a desktop I have the receiver connected to the cable.
