So all haters DX12 are Pro-NV ? Please STOP.Defending DX12 has nothing to do with AMD.like DX11 , We're at alpha phase. So wait for the final phase.DX12 is still too Young!

Maybe the other way round, AMD made us think we were gonna hit the bank with their cards in dx12 mode obliterating nvidia and dx11. Lol thank God I dodged that bullet.

btw. Async is still held hostage in JHH's cellar, along with the solution to solve the constant stutter and in just about every dx12 game that is an AMD title.

So, AMD beat Nvidia 4 years to Directx 10.1 which is the Dx11 primer. It is safe to say Nvidia went back to the drawing board until they reverse engineered HD3870 to GTX 580(considering all the problems that arose in 400 series, it is safer to refer to 500 series as the first Dx11 issue than GTX 460 the year before).
Will it matter as Directx 12 demonstrates new features, or will it be the same story as Directx 10.1 wasn't allowed to outshine Directx 10?

I'm sure you will cry for DX11 when We're at 2018.lack of many things in DX11 that DX12 does have. Now Dream on!

you said it yourself friend, it takes years, unlike amd's marketing will have you believe. Until nvidia dx11 can keep beating amd in dx12, the new api is just an testing phase for the developers to get the hang of it. I can't imagine anyone choose to play in dx12 mode over dx11 as of here and now cosidering the very early and still shakey state of it.

I've got a pretty good idea why you try to avoid amd in dx12. cause it totally didn't take off like it was hyped to.
never did I say dx12 isn't better than dx11. I just said ppl are gullible.
But I'll stop if you like, this is a game benchmark thread so nvidia vs amd is totally irrelevant rolleyes.gif

I think Directx 12 means to some, "sometime in the future". But surely not to Nvidia: Dx12 is here and now. *cough* *cough*rolleyes.gif

First, avoid the Windows Directx 12 launcher... then, avoid the Linux Vulkan launcher... Steam is the last frontier. laugher.gif

Been this way since the nV 4600's
