Ihad some trouble again taking a decent pic because my phones camera isn't the best and the ambient light and the white bar at the top of the tool caused some issues but I think you can see the grid at the top os visible.

Thanks, though the picture really isn't that good lol

Took two new ones now that it is dark. This time with Asus GPU Tweak and MSI Afterburner side-by-side.
Notice at the second picture, in which the camera is a little closer to the screen, the grids to the top are quite a bit more visible. Have to investigate that further.

Yeah strange behaviour. The ASUS one is quite worse than on mine even with my crappy cam, then again I was much closer.

Are you sure you get that when looking at it without your cam too? Because I was curious so I got my camera and tried it and the result is much worse than yours.

I can see the grid with my eyes fine though.

Yes, here is another picture. I can actually see it with my eyes too, but the camera does not pick it up.

Ok after you said you could see it with your eyes I got curious and tried something:

This is an image of the monitor from google without the massive white bar. I think that's the main reason the upper grid is so hard to see in pictures.

Oh, so you mean because of the camera adjusting its light sensitivity or exposure to the white bar from Windows 10! Well figured out.

Yeah, I'm a noob when it comes to photography but I bet with a long exposure time the results would be better. Imo the white bar is just overexposing the upper part of the image and the backlight glow around the frame does the rest.

Btw I'm slowly getting my color issues sorted with a tool called monitor calibration wizard.
I still dont get the taskbar black but I noticed I'm dumb and that the start menu is always a little lighter than the taskbar xD

I ended up using your ICC profile and 43/42/51 colors with 2.5 gamma. Looks fine now

Oh btw, I noticed some games lock at 60FPS/60HZ with G-sync and DSR at 1440p. Any idea why and how to prevent that?

Thought about that one too but it'S 500€ here, 150 more than I payed for the Acer. That's just too much for a 24" TN screen imo
