And I have.... .....38 ready to go myself. Was hoping for a higher number, but that heat wave (that I'm hoping is over....) nuked a lot of things for me.

Haha, Well one can't mistake the timer.

I'm looking at the non-Bitcoin production of OCN vs Planet 3dnow. We more than doubled their production yesterday across all the projects. Quite a bit of that is a couple of us, like myself, running collatz as I can't get any more PG units. I was hoping we could do a bit better with more focus on the active projects.

I figure some don't visit the forum or only want to support a particular project. Hoping we could do better as a team.

Edit: We're 2 points from 4th. Basically 1 position. Its a rough jump up to 3rd but the spreads will start changing when more projects are added.

I dropped a big chunk of tasks last night when I added another 7970 to my loop.  I really didn't have a choice, if I wanted to grab another 100 tasks.  At least for me, it won't change anything overall, since I will have the new stockpile done before PG goes live.  :D

Wow, a chunk is 465k points? Were they all validated? We'll all be dropping like a million points?

I rely on that timer in addition to setting an alarm on my phone for around the same time to remind me it's safe to release work units, although I usually wait until about 15 minutes later or so just in case ^_^

While a number of these projects aren't really the ones I want to work on (my main focus for research I support the most is on stuff like cancer (bonus points if one focus is breast, lung, prostate, or ovarian cancer - guess which ones have hit my extended family and/or friends over the years), HIV/AIDS, and a few others, hence why it tends to be Rosetta@Home and WCG for my two mains), I figured for a two week time period I'd rather help out the team and see where it lands us overall. Besides, I have to playfully say I've made more points in pogs and csg combined over this past week than I have in two or three months of Rosetta ^_^;;;;;;; tongue.gif

Besides, the Pentathlon helps with that competitive spirit and whatnot (aka I get to try and push a few things in my rig and see what happens) devil.gif

Heh, true there.

What i do hope is that the other 48 WUs that are pending validation do not get validated before the event starts, if they hold, i will have a bunker of 348 WUs biggrin.gif

Not me, I'll be lucky to get 500k, I didn't know PPS were worth 3k each so I just took PPS and GFN 15, 16, 17, and 18. mad.gif

Yeah, I've still got 51 in the pending box as well.

A little more than half of the tasks I had to release were validated. 465k is 138 PPS Sieve tasks.  I will be dropping several times that amount once PG goes live. :D

Well I screwed up when I was trying to get both GPUs running and only have 159 tasks bunkered on two systems.  This close to the deadline I am not going to try and squeeze anymore in.  Still from the sounds of things, the team has a good bit of work ready to go and we will be off to good start
