Just got home and let loose my mighty bunker of epic proportions (okay I'm exaggerating a lot).
But, hope it helps a bit tongue.gif
About a days backlog of Universe and Primegrid. drunken.gif

China doesn't have more computing power than us, they are just better at bunkering
post #34 of 77
I don't know what a bunker is, and I've only ever used BOINC once before, but I'm here breaking in my CPU by letting it chip away at these work units. Hopefully I set this up right.

The important thing is that you are on the overclock.net team. It is something that you have to actually go and do on the project page. I can give you some help there if needed.

We are in 4th place now in Universe@home. We went right on by team china. The real question is if we can hold on.

That was the one thing I made sure to do, so good. thumb.gif

I haven't dropped my bunker yet. Only 63 tasks, but it's something. I'm gonna keep crunching CSG and see where we stand tomorrow. I guess I should start bunkering Rosetta...

AS soon as the cross country (primegrid) is almost done, (solidly in 5th place now) I'll be shutting down the GPU's and setting 47 vishera cores on Universe....

I hope that helps make up ground on #3.

Update:

I've switched three machines over to Universe, Tomorrow I'll switch the other three. The two teams ahead of us have already reduced their commitment to PG and the two behind us would have to have a massive increase in production to catch us. Barring any bunker dumps in PG (which are pretty much over) we are set in position #5.

Now Universe is the focus for me. We are in position #4 and have a good shot at overtaking #3.

Hopefully we can grab a top three position in at least one of the projects. Universe look like the best shot at that.

I am only getting about 25% of these to validate at this point.  I assume that means some teams have big bunkers, and hopefully no other shenanigans going on.
