Zowie FK1+ announced - Page 32

My 2nd gamble on Zowies, their shapes seem to be awesome, I love EC2-A, but I feel like ambi shape would be better for my aim.
Ordered FK1, basing on RJK impressions that it feels similar to EC2-A in size.I hope it will feel similar to sensei, but better, because I'd miss the curves for fingers on m1 and m2.

EC2-A feels nothing like the FK1, not sure how he got that impression. The only real similar thing between FK and the EC series is the length. Other than that, to me they feel like polar opposites. One has a huge palm filling hump and the other is super flat. EC2-A feels like most would use a palm grip, while the FK1 is more of a floating fingertip grip.

As far as FK being similar to sensei, I've never tried the sensei, but I have a Nixeus revel, which I believe is a shape clone. Compared to the FK1, the revel shape is wider and the butt/back of the mouse feels like a ball. The FK1 shape is just far superior. It's a lot thinner and so much easier to do quick movements. The revel shape just feels clunky in comparison.

It was about size only, i.e. "fk1 feels similar to EC2-A in size and fk1+ feels similar to EC1-A in size"
About other things: well, I hope you are right. But I start to think that there is something wrong with my grip or that I should use EC1-A instead of EC2-A, but that would be too wide. But the FK1+ and sensei felt like I would naturally hold the mouse in the most comfortable AND efficient way. But I'm pretty sure that 1+ would be too wide, so I decided to try FK1. Well, it will arrive in a month and then I'll be able to tell if it's good for my grip.

FK1 seems still to be my best mouse aiming wise. That is the old first one with yellow accents (but 3310 sensor) and too high button latency. The only thing that really matters is shape and FK1 is my best fitting shape so far. The FK1+ is on order and will arrive soon. FK2 (the original FK) is also still here in yellow (3390 sensor) but feels a bit too claw-grippy. I prefer palm/claw hybrid and the FK1 gives me that. It just sometimes feels still a bit too thin, so hopefully I feel heaven with the FK1+.

What's your hand size? I can't imagine fk1+ being better than fk1. I mean it's just a wider fk1, won't it hurt your aim?

Nah it really helps (got it today) the fatiguing I had on the FK1. The pros about the FK1 shape to me are the butt, the overall height and the tall enough front sides (ZA series has a lip there for whatever reasion, horrible decision btw). The FK1+ has the same shape benefits to me, the butt fits even slightly better in my palm (ever so slightly more stable feel) and the added width in the middle and front help for a less fatiguing claw grip. The FK1 was always a bit too thin to me. I was playing wonderfully with it but couldn't manage to play about 2 hours or more. FK1+ has better shape than Nixeus Revel or Sensei imho.

Yeah the FK+ is dreamy shape wise. Glad you like it.

I really loved the FK but needed that rear height - the ZA11 failed to deliver that but the ZA12 delivered exactly what I was missing in an fk1

If Revel feels too big (mainly the length I think, because I had to grip the main buttons almost at the base, so they felt too high and I got sore knuckles), and Rival 100/G100s are just perfect, would the FK2 be the closest match?

I guess, yeah, but why if the other two (Rival100, G100S) are already perfect..? wink.gif
