Here is your link to conversation: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1463694222/0#4
Here is link to Nvidia explanation about 10 bit support: http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3011/~/10-bit-per-color-support-on-nvidia-geforce-gpus

So basically what you need to know, GeForce is supporting 10bit depth only in full screen DirectX applications. But games are not supporting 10bit depth. You can make use of 10bit only in professional applications in which 10bpc is not supported by GeForce. So conclusion is - there is no point on having 10bpc on for any other usage than professional applications with Quadro card.

So, you are saying if I get an AMD card it should then be supported? I am planning on getting an AMD GPU pretty soon.

Well, in that case that just leaves the issue about the power brick whining then I guess :/

Everything is explained in TFT thread.

Since you got this monitor from UK, go to some Swedish tech forum and ask about it, maybe there are some differences in electricity or something, I don't know, ask there.

Already way ahead of you on the asking on a Swedish forum part! They said it would be fine to use any cable, so I guess it should be fine. Maybe there is just something wrong with the power brick then? It would then be great if LG could just replace the power brick, do you think they would do that?

I don't know, you saw how their customer support works. And it will take a lot of time, especially if this monitor is not yet available in your country.

Ok, so I just got an MSI R9 390 and now I cannot even put the color at 8-bit, because then the monitor loses signal every 20s, I have to put it at 6-bit, which seems very bad. Why is this?

Perhaps your cable is bad?

I am using the one supplied with the monitor, are you saying I should buy and try another?

That's probably not it then... random blackouts are usually a cable issue though.
