Gelid extreme was brutal for application. Mine was so thick that I gave up spreading it and just used the pea dot method. I've since switched over to Grizzly Kryonaut and the included silicon tip spreader is amazing. This is my new go to TIM and the results are pretty amazing. thumb.gif
I know you not asking for opinion, but as far is Gelid Extreme, it's useless product, really.
Few years ago I've used it on all my machines (6-7) and at first it worked pretty good, but after few months I know this temps rising on ALL of my computers.
After removing block from 1 of them the compound was bone dry and when checked, all remaining machines the same thing.
I purchased several tubes and kept them in dark cold place , after looking at them, the paste separated itself, half hard powder, half oil some sort, this was reported at EVGA forum as some people experienced the same thing and when contacting Gelid, they never responded. BTW I don't thing they making that product anymore it's been discontinued and if you can buy it it might be remaining stock at retailers which would be garbage now.
Ever since I've used MX4 and its superb product.
