The cool guy at IceModz is sending some free samples of the sleeving in both the MDPC-X grays so I can match the gray on the M8E and Kingpin shroud, and CaseLabs gunmetal interior, see which one is just right, have a feeling the darker titanium gray is the one, just want to be certain.
IceModz also wanted to know which case I was using before they began designing my cables (that's a nice touch), I was asking for a short(er) 9inch 24-pin and the guy there said he has created many 24-pins for the Caselabs S8 and S8S, and his advice was, "do not go any shorter than 10inches or the 24-pin gets way too stiff to bend and form because the cables cross at a certain point", hmmmm ok.
Since I was able to reconfigure the soft tubing off the front 280mm HWL MP FlexBay rad from the front and side of the radiator, the S8S midbay is free of any soft tubing runs, YAY! And the D5/pump top and reservoir are tucked away in gorgeous positions, I used the two rectangular cut outs in the midchassis to route the cables fore and aft of the Aquaero 6 LT so they look extremely professional. So the midbay is free and uncluttered so far, only the PSU cables will fill that large area at the lower level with the two large 16mm PETG long tubing runs filling the space higher up, well managed the space from above should look very nice, bordered by a thick bare Hardware Labs radiator grill, the motherboard front edge, and the midchassis with three passthroughs.
Grabbing some of these very inexpensive self adhesive cable clips to manage the wiring underneath the midchassis, and way back near the PSU off the PowerAdjust 3, they will all be out of sight. Was able to wire the 12 white LED static strip for the reservoir tube to the Aquaero PWM output 1 and wired PWM output 2 for a long overhead white LED strip to be added sometime in the future. No fancy breathing effects or beats to music and no RGB, the Aquaero 6 will only adjust the brightness of the static white LEDs, very simple which is all I wanted.
My hard tubing runs and fitting ends should look exactly like the ones in this Bitspower/MSI Cotton Candy PC Mod recently at Computex (pics below), Bitspower deluxe white with Mayhem's extreme white coolant. Had already purchased the four white Bits enhance fittings while still going with clear coolant, but the white/white in combination still looks pretty darn good.Edited by iBruce - 6/15/16 at 10:30am
