Safe to use Thermal Grizzly applicator on pch die?

Thread Starter
I'm in the process of installing a waterblock on board, and just wanted to check if there's a risk of the applicator Thermal Grizzly uses with Kryonaut scratching the pch. I received a response in broken English from them. The response made it sound safe, but didn't give me confidence they understood my email.

Has anyone used the applicator tip on a bare die without issue?

I usually dont spread it and let the mounting pressure spread. Id say its totally safe its only plastic.
