New build.

Just sharing I think I've finally maybe kinda put my build together or at least what I want to do lol. Stuck deciding on a full tower case but going to be around the 150-180$ range. Then gonna go with the i7-6700k may do a slight over clock to it, thinking about doing the corsair h110i or something of that range, 32gbs of ddr4 ram a 500gb ssd with a few tb hds not sure which ps yet, two gtx970s (getting a deal on them) but later going to upgrade. Think I may do the sabertooth mobo for around 200$ on sale I found. Hmmm kinda random I guess but I'm getting there. What's everyone's thoughts.

I'd drop down to 16GB of RAM unless you really need it or get a good deal on it.
Don't do the H110i, please. Predator or H220-X2. Keep the CLCs to the 120mm units. If you're doing a slight overclock, no real reason to grab a Saberkitty, you can drop down to a lesser Z170 option.

Ahh yes the predator was what I was actually looking at today I just couldn't remember which one it was haha hence the h110 or something around that lol. I know I hear everybody always complaining about the corsair cooler. And yea I was only going 32gbs bc I was picking up 16 from a buddy with the gym 970 for cheap. So no need to go sabertooth then?

Nothing wrong with the Corsair coolers to be honest. I have an H55 myself and its served me well for the time I've had it. Just for the price on the higher priced units, why bother? I mean there are 240mm CLC for around $80US which is fine, but at the whole $120+ range, you're better off getting the H220-X2 since to be honest, the sum of its parts costs more than it sells for, and its a much higher quality pump and block.
And no, no need to go Sabertooth. the 6700K starts at 4.0GHz. Running it up to 4.5 or so won't require a Saberkitty.

It would be better to give a total budget and what the main use of the rig would be?

I'm thinking this is a gaming rig since your wanting SLI so no reason to spend the money on a 6700k or 32gb of RAM, and especially not a CLC. You would be better off with maybe a 6600k, 16gb RAM, and spend the extra on a better AIO like mentioned above, the H220/240 or Predator, or even a really high end air cooler. Also a single 980ti would be better that SLI 970s, unless your getting a really really good deal on the 970s and even then there will be more resale value from a 980ti and probably more longevity if you decide to keep it long term. I also don't think there is any reason to pay over $100 for a case, lots of good cases with good airflow and good looks in that price range.

To add to your suggestions

6600K would be better for gaming, usually other people mention this like you have, so I didn't say so. I did mention the 16B of RAM and the CLC, so there you go, 2 people saying the same thing. And I noticed him saying he got a deal on the 970, so I didn't mention anything about the 980Ti, however yeah, with the state of SLi and the framebuffer, the 970s will do much better. On the note of Sub $100 Cases, may I vote the Fractal Design Define S?

Sorry about that I didn't realize I didn't put my budget. I've got around 1500$ to play with. Also yea it'll mainly be gaming but I'm also an artist and will be doing photoshop and digital work as well and a tiny bit of video editing here and there. Also yea I'm going to eventually get the 980 just getting a really good deal on the 970

With 1500 to play with, its possible to grab a 5820K. If you're going to go for the 980 after, I can't see a reason to get both 970s. Also, it would be better to grab a Pascal card .

Since your already getting a good deal on the 970s and it seems like your going with that, whats the budget without them, or is it still $1500?
