Hi,

great work!
I will do it too, with 7 black titans.

You say:

x99 e ws 3.1 - but with some very important bios settings - I'll report it all soon. Asus must update their bios asap.

Any news?

Is a custom bios a must have?

Yes - without custom bios it will not boot. Avoid asus...

Does your machine run?

Run It with such custom bios? From Asus?

I moved to Supermicro and Asrock server motherboards with dual xeons. You will have tons of problems with this motherboard on watercooled 7 gpus. If the bios resets to its default you'll have to remove all watercooled gpus...

ok,

4 way muli-gpu will run!

Can I change self the bios settings to run 7 way multi-gpu??

Can You say me, what I must change in bios??

If it is possible, I can create a second watercooling circuit (3 gpu) with disconnectable pcie-riser.

I disconnect 3 cards after a bios reset... change back the bios settings... and connect the 3 disconnect cards!???

4G decoding must be enabled, and with few devices connected via USB to reduce IO space. Moreover if you update bios with 7 gpu the ****ty motherboard will go down. Seriously - save your time and get true server/workstation motherboard. Asus support will never help you BTW - this is the worst support I've ever met.
I know about the terrible asus support!!!

And I change my Asus Z9PE-D8 (dual-xeon-board) to asus x99e ws usb 3.1, because the cpu-cpu interconnect is max 8 GT/s QPI.

I think the communication between two or more gpus over cpu-cpu interconnect is slow.
I think the communication between two or more gpus over a PLX-chip is faster.

So much sexy!

Like has been stated .... I'm not sure how to feel.
