The only trouble you might potentially have is vRAM usage. It typically sat under 3gb but the fog increased that to nearly 4gb. There's also a slight memory leak and I have seen the vRAM creep up to 4.7gb 2-3 games out of the 50+ I played.

Consider what I said based on the settings I used of course (mentioned in my previous post).

I wonder how my gaming laptop at work will handle this game?

Medium low guess.

What's the Vram usage like at 1440p? I have 980ti SLI and am worried about Vram.

You should be ok, I was observing around 5 to 5.5 gb at 2560x1440.

That could be cutting it close. Especially when there's fog and destruction aftermath. Who knows too how complex some of the future maps are.

I'm sure a setting or two will no doubt alleviate that. But I did get near that 5 gb mark at 1080p quite a few times. That with no AA and no resolution scale adjustments.

That's ridiculous at 1080p. There are only a handful of gpu's with over 6gb. Hopefully Dice has things better optimized by the release date. If I can't max this game out with at least 135% scaling in Ultra settings because of 6gb of vram being a bottleneck I'm going to lose my mind. 90% if not more of the people buying this game will have 4gb or less. What a disaster that would be.

^ That's how they sell new GPU's. I always find it an odd coincidence that new games magically increase their Vram requirements just beyond the last generation GPU's capacity, and just in time for the new GPU's that have more Vram.
Planned obsolescence exists, but do you really think it's plausible that EA has some kind of deal with GPU makers to raise the requirements to sell more cards?
I just think they're making use of the available technology in current and upcoming cards to make their game look good. And you can always lower your settings.
