Hello All!

I was looking into a 980Ti and noticed that there are two similar models from the same manufacturer at very different prices.

For instance, there are two classifieds at EVGA for $599 and $674. There are also two MSI gaming for similar prices. I couldn't find much of a difference between them.

Was there a refresh or upgrade to the 980Ti line halfway through the generation? Thanks!

Cheers!

Funny that you made this thread. I had the same question after I ordered the cheaper Classified 980 Ti to find a more expensive one. I purchased mine on Amazon and the cheaper one has the word REF on the box which I thought as 'reference'. In any case the cheaper Classified has a slower clocks than the more expensive version. That said the pictured Classified 980 Ti REF is supposed to be a 3997 model but what they sent/will send you is the 4997 model which has little to no information. What I received did not have REF on the box but instead it was a 980 Ti Classified SC (Super Clocked) GPU. Advertised speed is 1000 stock and 1190 boost. Instead the card had 1102 stock and 1190 Boost. Both versions should have the 14+3 power delivery design.
